The Bride
‘The Bride’ was a two-hour performance in which I sat down in the gallery and wrote a letter. One of the self-imposed rules was that I could not speak or be spoken to, although I could be seen writing through the windows of the gallery. The letter was addressed to a possible future lover.
Mistress (Berlin)
Since it seemed unreasonable to re-perform the original ‘Mistress’ performance, as performed in Santiago de Compostela, I decided to explain to the audience why I decided not to re-perform it and to tell them the story that led to its making. Thus I presented a performance-lecture in which I used all the items belonging to original performance, resulting in an installation that was exhibited in the gallery during the following weeks.
