ARQUIPÉLAGO (ARCHIPELAGO)

Paul B. Preciado (1970) is a writer, philosopher and curator whose work focuses on applied and theoretical topics relating to identity, gender, pornography, architecture and sexuality. For this performance Bonneville took as a starting point Preciado’s concept of "body-essay", carrying on the research held in his previous performances, in which body, performance and writing were developed in a direct connection with philosophy. The progression of these connections in his work emerged both from the encounter with the feminist slogan "the personal is political" as well as with writers and thinkers whose practice of philosophy is developed in a first-person perspective.
Bonneville, a Flaneur-noir dressed in what could be medical/laboratory clothing, witnesses the ruins, the desolate fields, human nature, experiences fragments of frustration, in silence, with a marginal attitude towards the world that surrounds him, in perfect disharmony with the variability of his aesthetic propositions.
