After some disappointments with both the art world and with his way of art-making, Bonneville decided to reformulate his creative process in order to go on performing. Miguel Bonneville #1 was the first performance in which he adopted an autobiographical stance. It marked the beginning of a new phase in his work and the ending of a troubled relationship.
