artist book

festival silêncio, in collaboration with casa fernando pessoa and the josé saramago foundation, invited a group of four artists from diverse artistic backgrounds to inhabit an apartment for one month, transforming it into a house of words—a multidisciplinary residence and a communal space fostering collaboration and artistic exchange. inspired by the concept of “casa-palavra” (house-word) coined by portuguese writer gonçalo m. tavares, the house, nestled in the heart of cais do sodré (lisbon), served as a catalyst for unexpected creative processes and endeavors. this convergence culminated in the creation of a unique collective book.
