dissection of a swan (dissecação de um cisne) is a bilingual artist book, featuring texts written in portuguese and french, crafted during a three-month artistic residency hosted at la box – école nationale supérieure d’art de bourges, france. this residency marked the initial phase of research for the creation of the performance the importance of being georges bataille. this edition showcases a fusion of drawings, altered photographs, performance documentation, and original texts crafted by bonneville during the residency.
