Daddy Daddy

the first of bonneville’s explicitly autobiographical performances, daddy daddy arose from a tumultuous rift between themselves and their father. it aimed to explore filial dynamics, the notion of family, and the boundaries of self-disclosure and autobiography—a bold endeavor at a time when the use of autobiography as a tool in performance art was uncommon and generally not well accepted among audiences, programmers, or curators in portugal.
