bonneville’s debut performance centered on the stereotypical binary gender roles prevalent in pornographic films, typically depicted as submissive and dominant power dynamics between women and men. in strip me, dress me, bonneville scrutinized these roles, bringing them to light and subverting them, thereby exposing the underlying mechanisms of these ‘normalized’ relationships.
