the personal is political (o pessoal é político) is a series of lecture-performances inspired by the motto of the second-wave feminist movement proclaiming that the personal is political. maria gil and miguel bonneville created a trilogy of lecture performances, delving into various themes and presenting original first-person narratives drawn from their own experiences. using memories, fragments, and stories from their lives as raw material, they invite audiences to engage in collective reflection and idea exchange.
